Privacy policy

WingMiles is a pre-launch product by Procon Telematics. This website exists to describe the product and collect waitlist registrations. This policy covers exactly what this website collects — written to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect, and why

If you join the waitlist, we collect what you give us:

• First name, email address, ZIP/postcode, and country — so we can contact you about WingMiles and understand where interest is coming from.
• Your optional answers (who you're keeping an eye on, what you'd expect to pay, what feature matters most) — to shape the product and pricing.
• Basic context attached to your registration: which messaging version of the page you saw, how you found us (campaign/referrer parameters in the URL), and your browser's user-agent string — to learn which messages and channels resonate.

Waitlist data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States, accessible only to the WingMiles team.

If you just browse, we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool. It uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and doesn't track you across sites; we see aggregate counts (pages viewed, country, rough device type), never individual profiles. There is no fingerprinting on this site.

If you arrived from an ad, we also run the Meta pixel while we're advertising the waitlist. Unlike Plausible, it does use cookies and it does report back to Meta — it tells them that a visit or a waitlist signup happened, so their system can show our ads to people more likely to be interested. We don't send Meta your email address. You can limit this through your Meta ad preferences, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. We'll remove the pixel when the advertising test ends.

What we do with it

• Email you about WingMiles — product updates and launch news. Nothing else, and every email includes an unsubscribe link that works.
• Analyze aggregate interest (by country, message version, and channel) to decide how and where to launch.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Ever.

How long we keep it

Waitlist data is kept until WingMiles launches and you become a customer, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the product doesn't launch, we'll delete the waitlist rather than let it sit around.

Your rights (including California residents)

If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We never sell your personal information. While our advertising test is running, the Meta pixel described above does send Meta information about your visit for advertising purposes — which counts as "sharing" in the CPRA's specific sense of the word. To opt out, email hello@wingmiles.com with "Do not share", block third-party cookies, or send a Global Privacy Control signal — we honor it. Nothing you give us on the waitlist form, including your email address, is ever sent to Meta.

Wherever you live, we extend the same courtesy: email hello@wingmiles.com and we'll tell you what we have, fix it, or delete it — typically within 30 days.

Children

This site is for parents and guardians. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. The future WingMiles product will involve teen driving data — that will be governed by its own, much more detailed privacy policy before launch, built on the same principle this site uses: visibility for the family, not data harvesting for us.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here and, if you're on the waitlist, tell you by email.
