Who's behind this
From commercial fleets to the one car that matters most.
Procon Telematics brings commercial fleet experience to WingMiles. We’re developing live tracking and driving insights for families with a newly licensed driver. Features and coverage will be confirmed before launch.
WingMiles is in development. The display above is an illustrative example, not a live trip or customer result.
Know they arrived
Planned alerts when they reach school, work, or home — designed to reduce the need to check in while they drive.
Significant-impact alerts
Planned notifications with vehicle location when a significant impact is detected. Coverage and alert limitations will be confirmed before launch.
Late-night reassurance
Planned late-night driving alerts can give you a starting point for a conversation about the expectations you set together.
A weekly driving report card
Harsh braking, rapid acceleration, speeding, late-night trips — scored and trending, so good habits show up in black and white.
Scores they can see too
Your teen gets their own view. It’s coaching and earned independence, not surveillance.
Practice good driving habits
Use shared driving feedback to discuss what needs practice. WingMiles does not promise an insurance discount.
Why it matters
The first months of solo driving carry extra risk
New drivers are still building experience. These US figures explain why those early months deserve attention.
~3×
The fatal crash rate per mile driven for 16–19-year-olds is nearly three times the rate for drivers 20 and older.
Source: IIHS Fatality Facts 2023
+50%
Teens are about 50% more likely to crash in their first month of licensed driving than after a full year of experience.
44%
Of teen motor-vehicle deaths occurred between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. — late-night driving is where risk concentrates.

The insurance reality
Better driving conversations.
No promised insurance discount.
WingMiles is being designed to help families discuss braking, speed, and driving habits through shared feedback. Device and service pricing are still to be confirmed. Joining the waitlist is free and does not commit you to a purchase.
No insurance discount is promised. Check directly with your insurer about its programs and requirements; WingMiles is not an insurance product.
Let's be honest
“So… you want to spy on your kid?”
It deserves a straight answer. WingMiles is being designed around sharing information completely in the open: the planned app gives your teen their own view of trips and driving scores.
That changes the conversation. Instead of "where were you?", it's "your braking score jumped this week — nice." Instead of a curfew argument, it's a deal: keep the late-night flags at zero, earn the longer leash. Visibility is what your teen trades for the keys — and the data gives them a way to prove they've earned more freedom, not less.

If you're looking for covert surveillance, WingMiles isn't it. If you're looking for a shared way to discuss driving habits and independence — welcome.

Questions parents ask
Frequently asked questions
Does my teen know it’s installed?
Yes — and that’s the point. WingMiles is being designed around shared visibility: the planned app gives your teen their own view of trips and driving scores. Discuss how you’ll use the information together. We don’t recommend (or design for) covert tracking.
Will it work in any car?
The planned device connects to the car’s diagnostic (OBD-II) port. We’ll confirm compatibility and fitting requirements for your exact vehicle before launch.
Is it legal to track my teen’s car?
US tracking laws vary by state and circumstances, including vehicle ownership, consent, and the driver’s age. Some states make exceptions for parents or guardians of minors, but check the current rules where you live before installing a device. We recommend discussing tracking openly with your teen. This is general information, not individual legal advice.
What about my teen’s privacy?
We take it seriously. The planned app gives your teen their own view of trips and driving scores. Agree together on what you’ll share and how you’ll use it. Our website privacy policy explains how we handle waitlist information; app privacy details will be provided before launch.
Will it lower my insurance?
No insurance discount is promised. WingMiles is being designed to support conversations about driving habits. Check directly with your insurer about its programs and requirements.
How much will it cost?
Device and service pricing aren’t final. When you register, we’ll optionally ask what you’d expect to pay to help shape the product. Waitlist members get their first 3 months of service free at launch; the offer does not include a free device. We’ll share full pricing before you decide to buy.
When does it launch?
WingMiles is in development and a launch date hasn’t been announced. Join the waitlist for updates and your first 3 months of service free at launch — it’s not a purchase and there’s no obligation.
Does it work outside the US?
The US is our first planned market, with Australia planned next. Tell us your country when you register — where the waitlist grows fastest helps decide where we launch.
How is this different from a free location-sharing app?
Some phone apps offer driving reports and crash detection as well as location sharing. WingMiles is being designed around a device powered by the car, so its readings do not depend on your teen’s phone battery, plus a shared weekly driving report card. Features, coverage, and compatibility will be confirmed before launch. Compare the data source, alert limitations, and total cost of each option.
